When my mom was in France at the end of last summer (here<\/a>\u00a0,\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0and here<\/a>), she bought each of us a packet of French flower seeds to plant this year in our gardens.<\/h3>\n

After seeing all of the beautiful flowers at Monet’s Garden, she bought this package of \u00a0poppy seeds for me.<\/h3>\n

She bought them after being inspired by all of the flowers growing there.<\/h3>\n

She bought sunflowers for herself at a little village flower shop.<\/h3>\n

She got her inspiration at Monet’s garden, also.<\/h3>\n

We decided that the weather this past week-end was perfect for seed planting, so, I planted my poppies here in Syracuse in our square foot garden (here<\/a>)……<\/h3>\n

…..and she planted her sunflowers in her Lexington courtyard (here<\/a>). \u00a0Neither of us has the ideal place to grow these flowers, but we are excited to see how they turn out, and we will be sure to let you know in July or August.<\/h3>\n
