Are you familiar with Hometalk<\/a>? \u00a0We had never heard about it until we were introduced to it on someone’s blog. \u00a0Hometalk is an amazing website that offers photos, articles, advice, and information on just about everything that relates to home maintenance and improvement. \u00a0The key is that not only does it offer amazing photos but also amazing text and explanations to accompany those photos.<\/h3>\n

It’s also a great way to generate new readers to our blog. \u00a0 When we posted this blog entry<\/a>, we were thrilled by how many people read it, and you will be very surprised.<\/h3>\n

Almost 19,000 people have read how to eliminate slugs in their gardens. \u00a0When I wrote it, we assumed almost everyone knew how get rid of those creepy little crawlers.<\/h3>\n

When my mom was ready to add some updates to their courtyard<\/a>, she just went to Hometalk, typed courtyard into the search, and found some ideas. \u00a0She will be showing it off on the blog next week.<\/h3>\n

Last year when I was thinking about painting our storm door red, I was afraid it would be too much red. \u00a0So, I went to Hometalk and did a search of painted doors. \u00a0I realized that having a red door and storm door would just add another layer of interest to our front porch.<\/h3>\n
