Hi everyone. \u00a0Sorry I have been absent for a few days. \u00a0Don’t worry, though. \u00a0I have \u00a0a super easy project that I did in a couple of minutes and want to share with you. \u00a0Some of our friends brought us this great plant. \u00a0I have had some issues in the past keeping plants alive, but I have a goal to keep this one going.<\/h3>\n

I loved the vibrant green and red, and hopefully, there will not be any brown added to the mix. \u00a0The flower pot was a nice size, but I couldn’t help looking at it as a blank canvas.<\/h3>\n

Here is another view. \u00a0I was having fun playing around with the camera and the mirror on this table.<\/h3>\n

I decided to amp up the pot with some polka dots. \u00a0The first thing I did was cut out some polka dots on stencil paper. \u00a0I did this with my new favorite gadget the Silhouette Cameo.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

The next step is I taped the stencil to the flower pot. \u00a0This wasn’t working as well as I hoped, so I just cut out a couple of the stencils and randomly placed them around as I added color to the dots.<\/h3>\n

I mixed a couple of acrylic paints that I had on hand to get this soft blue color. \u00a0By all means, it is not perfect, but it is the little touch I wanted.<\/h3>\n

I’m having more fun with playing with the mirror and taking pictures!<\/h3>\n

I have my fingers crossed this one will thrive and eventually need to be replanted to a bigger pot. \u00a0Then I’ll get to create bigger dots!!<\/h3>\n
