Our refrigerator looks pretty nice with its stainless steel exterior, popular French doors, and pull-out freezer. \u00a0I only wish that someone had warned us like I am about to warn you.<\/h3>\n

Kitchenaid is a very popular and highly revered maker of appliances. \u00a0Hey, I have a Kitchenaid stand mixer, and I absolutely love it. \u00a0Its good reputation and the counter-depth style are two of the reasons \u00a0I selected a Kitchenaid refrigerator. \u00a0Unfortunately, I think someone who doesn’t cook or eat \u00a0designed it.<\/h3>\n

The frig has two crisper doors, and each has its own humidity control.<\/h3>\n

Unfortunately, when we pull out the crisper drawers, the little knobs get caught and the drawers won’t open.<\/h3>\n

Moving right along……Do you see that empty shelf there on the upper left? \u00a0Do you wonder why it is empty? \u00a0Well, every time we put food on that shelf, the food freezes. \u00a0What’s that all about???????<\/h3>\n

Next up is the deli area. \u00a0In order to lift the lid to get into the deli compartment, both of the refrigerator’s doors have to be all the way\/completely open. \u00a0That’s a total waste of energy because while we are looking for a slice of cheese or whatever, all of the cold is escaping.<\/h3>\n

Ditto for the crisper drawers. \u00a0In order to open just one of them, both of the exterior doors must be open.<\/h3>\n

I love the ice feature in the door, but when we get ice, a few cubes go flying onto the floor after<\/span> we remove the glass.<\/h3>\n

I love that the depth of the refrigerator is designed to line up with the cabinets, but I am really disappointed about its shortcomings. \u00a0If \u00a0I had it to do over again, I would definitely not have bought a Kitchenaid frig. \u00a0I guess I am stuck with it for the next 10 to 15 years. \u00a0Oh well…….<\/h3>\n
