Happy Monday, everyone. \u00a0I hope it was a good one. \u00a0We saw a good movie, and Mom got to sit in the first row, center seat at a Donny Osmond concert. \u00a0She is flying high right now. \u00a0Just wondering………d<\/span>id you get one of these<\/a> for the holidays?<\/h3>\n

Isn’t it a beauty? \u00a0Well, I had this huge popcorn container, and all the popcorn was finished. \u00a0I thought it might be perfect to use on an idea I’m borrowing from Ballard’s.<\/h3>\n

Perfect, right? \u00a0 \u00a0I received a Silhouette Cameo<\/a> for Christmas, and \u00a0so, this would be the perfect time to play around with it and turn the left over container into something useful and good-looking.<\/h3>\n

We usually feed Gracie a raw diet, but we keep dry food on hand for outings like camping<\/a> and day trips. \u00a0 It has been living on top of our fridge, and it is not a pretty sight. \u00a0I knew that not only would I get to play around with the Silhouette<\/a>, but we would be able to switch out the dog food bag for an attractive tin.<\/h3>\n

I did the project this weekend, and it was in the 50’s here. \u00a0It was nice to be outside and to do some painting while the snow was melting all around me. \u00a0I had spray paint primer <\/a>on hand so I decided to go ahead and prime the tin. \u00a0After one coat of primer, I grabbed some white and started spraying.<\/h3>\n

While the tin was drying, I worked on a design that I wanted to cut out with the Silhouette. \u00a0The possibilities are endless, and I am still learning all about this new machine. \u00a0It is so exciting!!! \u00a0I used a simple font and made it large.<\/h3>\n

Then I added some enhancement. \u00a0I didn’t make it exactly like Ballard’s, but I am thrilled with how it turned out. \u00a0Plus, it was so much cheaper than their tins which started at $45.<\/h3>\n

I got a paws up from the real judge who walked into the room and sat right down beside her tin. \u00a0I think she likes it.<\/h3>\n

The sitting didn’t last long. She quickly turned her attention to the camera’s clicking noise and was up right by the lens. \u00a0Overall,\u00a0I<\/del>\u00a0we are\u00a0happy with this little project.<\/h3>\n
