<\/a><\/p>\n<\/h3>\nThis is what we arrived to find.\u00a0Isn’t it cute and cozy? \u00a0When Mr. Spring asked what I wanted to do for my birthday, this was my answer. \u00a0We found a place in Vermont where guests can choose from a variety of different sized cabins. \u00a0If you are interested, it is Merck Forest Farm.<\/a><\/h3>\n <\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n<\/h3>\nOur cabin was called View Point so we had to snowshoe uphill to get to it, but when we woke up in the morning, the views were beautiful.<\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n<\/h3>\nThe day was sunny and crisp. \u00a0Our cabin had a little wood stove which put off great heat, so we were able to stay cozy. \u00a0Plus, along with our food, we brought along hot chocolate mix so we could warm up our insides, too.<\/h3>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Vermont-maple-lines-1024x768.jpg\" "\\"Maple")
<\/a><\/p>\n<\/h3>\nDuring the day we did some more snowshoeing and discovered lots of maple lines set up on the 3,500 acres of property they own. \u00a0We left with some of our own Vermont Maple syrup. \u00a0Yum!<\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n<\/h3>\nThere’s not much to it, but the kitchen worked great for the two of us. \u00a0The website said this cabin was for two, and they are right. \u00a0However, we discussed that “back in the day”, this would probably fit a family of six.<\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n<\/h3>\nOverall, it was a great weekend. \u00a0I know everyone would not find this as something they would want to do for their birthday weekend, but it is exactly what I wanted. \u00a0I was able to spend time with Mr. Spring, Gracie and enjoy the outdoors and things that are really important to me in life. \u00a0If you ever are up for the adventure, I highly recommend this sort of trip.<\/h3>\n<\/h3>\n
