{"id":14453,"date":"2012-12-02T18:33:16","date_gmt":"2012-12-02T23:33:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=14453"},"modified":"2012-12-02T18:34:07","modified_gmt":"2012-12-02T23:34:07","slug":"december-revisited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=14453","title":{"rendered":"December Revisited"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Happy Monday and Happy December. \u00a0Since this is our first day to write a post this month, we are going to follow our little monthly tradition and republish our favorite post from last December.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">*****<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Greetings all. \u00a0I know this is a busy week for everyone, but I just thought I would share a couple of things I have done to get into in the holiday spirit.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/12\/19\/the-holidays-in-syracuse\/holiday-house\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6821\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Holiday House\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Holiday-house-1024x763.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"458\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Our house is decked out and \u00a0ready for the holidays. \u00a0This was the first year we hung the wreaths and decorated the window boxes, and I love them both. You can read about making your own holiday window boxes\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/12\/11\/holiday-window-boxes\/\">here<\/a>. \u00a0Last year at this time we were still in moving boxes and were lucky just to put up a tree.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">In November I received the Pottery Barn catalog, and in one of the living rooms they had black and white winter photos with a red mat in silver frames. \u00a0I loved the look. \u00a0I didn\u2019t have the black and white winter photos, so instead, I used some of the old Christmas postcards I have collected. \u00a0I bought white mats and painted them red. \u00a0I love how they turned out.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/12\/19\/the-holidays-in-syracuse\/holiday-postcard-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6818\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Holiday postcard \" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Holiday-postcard-2-1024x722.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"433\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/12\/19\/the-holidays-in-syracuse\/holiday-postcard\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6820\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Holiday postcard\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Holiday-postcard-1024x930.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"558\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Sorry the quality of the photo is not that great because of the glare, but you get the idea.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/12\/19\/the-holidays-in-syracuse\/holiday-postcard-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6819\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Holiday postcard \" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Holiday-postcard-3-706x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"424\" height=\"614\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Here is another old postcard.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">We are slowly growing our Christmas decoration collection, and I am trying to use what I already have on hand. \u00a0With that in mind, I took the chalk board platter I made (you can read about it\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/31\/serving-platter-chalk-board\/\">here<\/a>.) \u00a0I have been writing different holiday sayings on the platter and changing them regularly. \u00a0This is so easy to do and fun for everyone.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/12\/19\/the-holidays-in-syracuse\/holiday-platter\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6817\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Holiday platter\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Holiday-platter-1024x701.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"421\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/12\/19\/the-holidays-in-syracuse\/holiday-platter-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6816\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Holiday platter \" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Holiday-platter-2-1024x669.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"401\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">You can get creative or even flirtatious with the sayings.
