When my mom and grandmother visited a few weeks ago, we had a girls’ day out. \u00a0I thought it was time to give my mother a break before she becomes permanently attached to a paint brush. \u00a0We were always working on projects when she visits. \u00a0Since we have mentioned Grandma many times in our blog, I thought you might like to meet her. \u00a0My other grandmother lives in Indiana, and the next time she visits, I will feature her, too.<\/h3>\n

First, we had lunch at an historic inn. \u00a0We talked a nice man into taking our three-generation photo.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

Then we headed to the winery. \u00a0I dropped them off at the door and parked the car while they browsed.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They got a good look at the vines…..<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

…..The wine……<\/h3>\n

…..and the view.<\/h3>\n

This was Grandma’s first time to do a wine tasting.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It didn’t take her long to get into it, though.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mom got into it, too.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

Several of their wines were have won awards.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We were each permitted to taste five wines of our choice.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

After we completed our tasting, we then selected our favorites. \u00a0Grandma and Mom each chose a white, and I went with a red.<\/h3>\n

We made our purchases and called it a day.<\/h3>\n
