list grocery list, camping list, etc. \u00a0You can see it is now reminding us that it is time to plant peas so they&#8217;ll be ready in the fall.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2012\/08\/12\/put-a-shelf-on-it\/shelf-new\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-11891\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11891\" title=\"Shelf\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Shelf-new-682x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"409\" height=\"614\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Shelf-new-682x1024.jpg 682w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Shelf-new-215x323.jpg 215w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 409px) 100vw, 409px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">As you probably noticed above, there are also some ugly wires that I have been looking at since we moved in. \u00a0Our house is wired for speakers in the kitchen and dining room, but \u00a0at this point we have not set them up. \u00a0So, I needed to temporarily hide those wires till the day comes when we can put them to use.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2012\/08\/12\/put-a-shelf-on-it\/shelf-open\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-11892\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11892\" title=\"Shelf \" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Shelf-open-1024x637.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"382\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Shelf-open-1024x637.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Shelf-open-430x267.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 614px) 100vw, 614px\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">There is also another quirk going on here. \u00a0There were some weird strips of wood that looked as if they had once supported a shelf. \u00a0We&#8217;re guessing a speaker sat on it. \u00a0This is the view from underneath. \u00a0 To put those strips of wood to use, Mr. Spring measured and cut a triangular piece of \u00a0wood to fit in that area. \u00a0I painted it white.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2012\/08\/12\/put-a-shelf-on-it\/shelf-after1\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-11893\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11893\" title=\"Shelf \" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Shelf-after1-682x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"409\" height=\"614\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Shelf-after1-682x1024.jpg 682w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Shelf-after1-215x323.jpg 215w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 409px) 100vw, 409px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">After we placed the shelf on the brackets, I topped it off with a pop of color which serves double duty. \u00a0It hides the ugly wire, and it adds some interesting detail to the corner. \u00a0You can&#8217;t see it, but it also balances out some bright green Granny Smith apples that I have on the opposite end of the room. \u00a0I love it now.
