I have seen some easy DIY sayings on Pinterest, and I thought I would give it a try. \u00a0You can get very creative. \u00a0Take a look at the ones I pinned.<\/h3>\n

This was the idea, \u00a0white wooden words on a white canvas. \u00a0 It was selling for $500. \u00a0My thought was…..no way.<\/h3>\n

These are by the same company and cost $50. \u00a0 It’s getting better. \u00a0 However, I thought I could make something like it and stick to my<\/span> budget – not theirs. \u00a0 Well, guess what!!! \u00a0I did, and it was under $10.<\/h3>\n

I started with a canvas I bought in a two-pack at Hobby Lobby. \u00a0Then I found wooden letters. \u00a0I decided to do the phrase “and they lived happily ever after.” \u00a0I played around with them to figure out how I wanted to lay out the words.<\/h3>\n

When I figured out how I wanted them to look, I glued them down. \u00a0You can use spray adhesive, but I just used some tacky glue I had on hand. \u00a0After they were glued, \u00a0I spray painted them white. \u00a0I decided to go with white, but you could do any color and get really creative.<\/h3>\n

Isn’t it great!! \u00a0 I am planning out a gallery display to go on our stairway wall. \u00a0This new work of art will fit in perfectly.<\/h3>\n
