I, along with the rest of blog world, am obsessed with chalkboard paint. \u00a0Now Martha Stewart has chalkboard labels, and you can use them for everything. \u00a0While I am a fan of Martha, I decided it was time to make my own. \u00a0It all started with this.<\/h3>\n

Since I am crazy about chalkboard paint, I have both the spray and non-spray paint on hand. \u00a0For this project, the spray option was the way to go.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

\u00a0I thought it would be fun to make my own chalkboard labels. \u00a0First, I spread out some sticky-backed mailing address labels. Name tags would work as well. \u00a0It would be easy to get creative with different sizes and shapes. \u00a0I was trying to keep it classic with the rectangle label.<\/h3>\n

The fun part was spraying them with the paint. \u00a0 I think I did four coats. \u00a0I didn’t really count. \u00a0I wanted a smooth dark coating. \u00a0This project was so fast and easy.<\/h3>\n

Here they are ready to be used. \u00a0 Aren’t they cool?!?<\/h3>\n

\u00a0They are working out great! \u00a0Plus, since I had every thing on hand, the price was right.<\/h3>\n
