Pam for spraying the pan<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0&#8211; 5 large egg yolks<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0&#8211; 1 cup superfine sugar (You can make this by giving granulated sugar a whirl in the food processor for 60 seconds).<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0&#8211; 1 1\/2 cups whole or slivered almonds, finely ground in the food processor<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0&#8211; 1\/2 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0&#8211; 1\/8 teaspoon salt<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0&#8211; 1 pound strawberries, hulled<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0&#8211; Confectioner&#8217;s sugar for dusting<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2012\/06\/14\/strawberry-frangipane\/img_2636\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-10876\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-10876\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_2636-1024x741.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"356\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_2636-1024x741.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/IMG_2636-430x311.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0&#8211; In a double boiler with simmering water, constantly whisk the yolks and sugar till triple in volume and warm. \u00a0Remove from heat and fold in almonds, vanilla, and salt. \u00a0Spread into a tart pan that has been sprayed with Pam. \u00a0Arrange strawberries, pressing them into the frangipane so they are mostly submerged.<\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0&#8211;
