I added just a very few items to create fall in the kitchen, but I still want to show you what I did. The fall tweaks pretty much boil down to an autumn piece of art, a pillow, and some orange flowers. Orange is my second favorite color (behind navy), and I love an orange/navy combo. Let’s take a look at the kitchen. There are tons of photos and few words. Oh, and I did cheat and use some over head lighting in some of the photos. #badblogger
Runner is available for purchase here. I didn’t realize the pad was showing until I edited the photos. Sorry.
I am showing you some different angles in these photos. This raised cabinet here is at the back of the dishwasher.
It provides lots of space for storing extra dishes, candles, vases, etc. Having a raised dishwasher is one of my favorite features in the kitchen. What a luxury to not bend over to load and unload the dishwasher.
I took a photo of a leaf while sitting on a park bench in Paris. When I got home, I painted it in my art class. I pull it out in the fall.
I bought a pair of these pumpkin pillows. The other is on the back porch. I like that it’s pumpkins, but they aren’t orange.
It’s fun that even some acorn paper cocktail napkins can add to the simple fall look.
I warned you that the fall decor was simple. I took minimalism to the max!!! Nevertheless, I am enjoying the touches of fall in the kitchen, and it’s amazing how much coziness the scent of a fall candle adds to a room.
Thank you so much for spending part of your day with us. It means the world to us.
Take care.
Love the kitchen rug! And I didn’t even notice the pad showing til you mentioned it!!
