The Seasons’ Saturday Selections

We are at my brother’s and sister-in-law’s in DC this week-end for the Navy (go Navy) vs. Air Force football game.  My husband graduated from the Naval Academy, and my brother is an Air Force Academy grad.  It’s a fun rivalry, but to add fuel to the fire, we bought an Navy cheerleading outfit for Little Miss and showed her a Youtube video with cheerleaders.  She is all in.  Yesterday we went to the Thai embassy and received the FINAL bit of paperwork for Little Miss’s adoption.  So, guess what!!!  You will get to see her adorable face next week.  I am so excited.  Now, let’s get started!

We love the fast but temporary transformation of this greenhouse.  I have to add that Mom and I both want one of those televisions.

I’m a big fan of your blog and I like reading about Little Miss, but please do NOT show her face and respect her privacy. She can’t decide about that herself at this moment, can she? Just a piece of advice from a mother of 3 grown-up daughters who are just horrified by this idea of yours – however well-meant. She is indeed a cute and innocent little girl. (And there’s her whole puberty and finding her own identity still to come.) We wish her good luck!

La Mama, thank you for your concern. I can assure you that we will protect Little Miss’s privacy and well-being as much as possible. We will only post an occasional photo of her. We do not intend to use her real name. Believe me…..we know where you are coming from.

OMGoodness! I follow you on Instagram too and I have to say I was so happy to see Little Miss! She is even more beautiful than I pictured. I was so happy to see the face of this sweet, precious little girl that I have prayed for, and shed a few tears over… and so happy to see your family. She is adorable! Thank you for sharing this part of your life with your readers.
