Small Business Saturday Selections

Hi everyone. We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We are still enjoying time with family and friends, but we put together something a little different for this week’s Saturday Selections.  Since today is Small Business Saturday, we picked some items that would make good gifts from the small businesses on Etsy.

Recipe Tea Towel

I love this idea.  Take a family recipe, and have this shop turn it into a tea towel.  I might have to do this for Grandma’s Hot Dog Sauce.

KY Shirt

I am now living in my ninth state, but this shirt shows where my home is.  I love these custom state shirts and think they are  great stocking stuffers.

Leather Luggage Tags

One year I purchased these leather luggage tags for Yankee.  He loves them and says he has gotten many compliments about them.  He travels a lot, and they are holding up great.

Personalized book

I love this idea and will be doing eventually for Little Miss.  This is a book you can have personalized for a special child in your life.  This would be a great gift for a niece, nephew, godchild, or your child’s playmate.  How cool…. plus I would have  loved this as a child.

Dixie Delights

Who doesn’t love something with a monogram on it?  Well, our friend Amanda at Dixie Delights has the lots of preppy, Lily, and beachy patterns and fonts in her shop, and they would be great gifts for the holidays.  She even has some cute things for our dog Gracie.

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend. We are thankful for all you reading our little blog.  We will see you back here on Monday.

Cheers & Take Care!

I did some Small Business Saturday shopping in my hometown,Greensburg, Indiana. The hardware store, Vintage shops, but my real finds were at Crafts and Occasion. Tomorrow I’m going to the farm stores, which are my favorites. Stopped into Stories for a cup of their coffee and conversation with old friends.. Ended with a trip to the Historical Museum to see their decorated charity Christmas Trees. What a perfect rainy day in Southern Indiana.
