The Seasons’ Saturday Selections, #1

By Jordan | Seasons Saturday Selections

Hello everyone!  Are you surprised to see us?  Don’t worry – it’s still Saturday.  We’re showing up on your week-end because we have added a new series to our blog called “The Seasons’ Saturday Selections”, and this is our first one. It will simply be a short to-the-point post that features five reads that we really enjoyed from Blogland this week.  We specifically selected posts that we think you will like.  So, grab another cup of coffee (or tea), sit back, and enjoy what we found to share with you.

EASY CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST-TITLE PAGE-stonegableblog.com

Yvonne from Stone Gable has some excellent tips for an easy brunch. On a side note, we spent  time hanging out with Yvonne at Haven last week, and she is just the sweetest person ever.  Her recipes are to die for, and her photos are off the charts.

how-to-hide-the-tv-

Cindy from Dwellings of the Heart has a great idea on how to hide the tv in your living room.

How-to-Convert-a-Table-into-a-Corner-Bench-Before-and-After

We had the opportunity to see Trisha again this year at Haven, the blogging conference.  (She also has some great business cards)!  You have to check out this creative project.  We are  just amazed at how clever Trisha was to turn this plain  table into a corner  bench.  Here you will find the steps.

 French-Kissed

Jermaine’s French-Kissed is one of a handful of blogs that we have been reading since we discovered what a blog is.  She lives in sunny California, but her style and photos will make you think her home is in France.  We aren’t familiar with blue plumbago plants, but now we both want some in our gardens.

Refresh/Restyle

How often do you look at a door and think shelf?  That’s how Debbie at Refresh/Restyle thinks.  Check out her recent creation here.

Thanks for spending some of your precious week-end time with us.  We hope you enjoyed our first Seasons Saturday Selections.  If you would like to pin any of these great selections, please link back to the original site and pin from there.  Also, even though it says this post is by Jordan, we are collaborating on our picks each week.  And remember, if you would like to see our faces in your inbox six mornings a week, you can subscribe here.

Take care and cheers!

I’ve had fun this morning discovering new blogs through you, it’s always nice to find some fresh quality content. The blue plumbago is gorgeous, especially styled with this jardiniere – I had it in my previous garden and loved it, but as a caution, it’s prolific…plant it in a contained space when it’s happy it goes crazy.
