I have seen this around in blogland, so I thought it was time to put my own spin on some framed fabric.
I have had this fabric in my stash for a while and never used it. The colors work so I decided to put it to work. I love the blue with the pale blue walls, and the gray is perfect with the gray and white curtains that I painted.
I picked up two frames at the Christmas Tree Shop for $5.99. I have not been in there in a long time and was shocked with the selection and good prices of frames.
The first thing I did was iron the fabric and then cut it to size to fit into the back of the frame. I did cut it a little larger than the glass so I could pull the fabric and make it tight.
Right now I put it up in our bedroom because we needed some color and art on the wall. The chair does not live in this space on a full time basis. Usually Gracie’s bed is in this corner, but I have been moving things around to make the most of out every inch. I am deciding if the chair should stay here. This might be a temporary space for the new art, too, but I just wanted to give you all an idea of how it looks in the room.
We had a busy week-end. We can’t wait to tell you about it tomorrow.
