My brother Cory proposed to his girlfriend Josie in December on his birthday. This past week-end we saw them and asked if we could write a post about their engagement. Josie replied, “Of course!”
Josie grew up in Nebraska, graduated from Catholic University, and now lives in Washington, DC. She is an Academy Award nominated movie producer. She was one of the producers for the documentary called “War Dance”
Cory grew up in Lexington, graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and lives in Washington also. He is a real estate developer.
They were introduced by a mutual friend at the Kentucky Derby a few years ago.
The beautiful ring is a Ceylon sapphire, the same stone in Kate Middleton’s ring and on the Titanic. We love Josie and are so happy for them.
