Cross My Heart

Author:  Autumn (Janette)

Last month my husband and I rode our bicycles from the very top to the very bottom of France.  It was an amazing trip in an amazing country.  Beginning on the first day I saw crosses in various random spots along the road.  By day three, I decided they were going to be an ongoing theme and started taking photos of them.

I am not into religious artifacts or icons, but  I really enjoyed the French crosses.  I hope you did, too.

Take care.

I think these pictures would make a really interesting wall grouping. Maybe even enlarging the favorites in different sizes. Hard to choose a favorite as they are all so unique and pretty. Must have been a great trip….!!! Thanks for sharing!

I actually thought about printing some of them out in black and white or sepia and using them in our master bath. Thanks for endorsing that idea.

Beautiful photos! My husband’s grandfather was a blacksmith in ND after immigrating there from Russia. He made beautiful iron crosses that are still standing today. I’m not into the religious aspect either, but I just enjoy their beauty & have a small wall display. It’s kind of an interesting collection.
